I see a bright light, a warm, bright light in the distance

As I walk further down the dark road of life,

the light grows nearer, its warmth and intensity growing

As I walk down the dark road of life, a sweet scent starts to surround me,

A scent sweeter than the sweetest smelling rose, sweeter than all the flowers in the world

As I walk down the dark road of life, I finally see what the light is,

it is a beautiful angel, more beautiful than anything my eyes have ever seen before, she is utterly enchanting

a friend from whom I hope I never have to part,

she has become so close to my heart

though I have known her but awhile I feel like I've known her for years,

she is always able to put a smile on my face, to take away all my fears

she makes me feel so happy, 'tis truly heaven to be around her
